For easy entry into the stack; Lumber Forks are built with a durable, short, thin, tip and a two-stage taper is factored into the blade design. The top of the blade can be polished to reduce friction when entering the material. A range of lengths are available with 47.5″ being the standard size used in most lumber applications.
