Prerequisite: Basic Fall Arrest
This course provides electric Articulating Boom Man-Lift and/or Telescopic Boom Man-lift operators an in-class experience for group bookings. The theory portion is focused of Mobile Elevated Work Platform safety awareness including;
» Safe and Proper Operation
» Site Assessment
» Equipment Assessment
» Safety Equipment & Devices
The in-class portion is followed by a practical skill testing and competency assessment where operators will be asked to show they can operate a scissor lift and/or vertical mast lift safely. Upon successful completion of the course, operators will receive a 'WestMat Certified' wallet sized operators card.

Bruce joined the WestMat team in 1994 working as a journeyman forklift technician. He later advanced to a position in customer service and sales where he remained until 2011 when he took over as WestMat’s lead safety instructor for Northern Alberta including our Edmonton, Red Deer and Grande Prairie safety training courses.
