This course will teach operators how to inspect the structural integrity of these versatile lifting machines and the frame work of the truck they are mounted on, including their safety systems and familiarizing participants with the crane limitations. We take all operators through best practices, safety legislation and the core fundamentals of operation.

Each participant will be asked to complete a practical test to show they operate the equipment safely.  Upon successful completion of the course, operators will receive a 'Westmat Certified' wallet sized operators card.

• 20+ Years of Technical Training in both Automotive and Lift Truck industries

Bryan joined the Calgary WestMat team in 2001; prior to that, he worked for over 10 years as an automotive technician and entry level mechanics instructor. Bryan has over 20 year of experience in the forklift industry, both as a service technician and a technical trainer. Bryan brings a broad range of knowledge and experience to our Safety Training team.
