This course takes an in-depth look at the safe operating procedures and regulations involved with the use of overhead cranes. In our on site overhead crane training course we take participants through best practices in proper rigging, rigging selection and hazard identification as well as the core fundamentals of overhead cranes, load limits, maintenance and lock out procedures.

Upon successful completion each participant will have a deep understanding of their crane and its unique operating characteristics. Operators will also receive a 'Westmat Certified' wallet sized operators card.

• 20+ Years of Technical Training in both Automotive and Lift Truck industries

Bryan joined the Calgary WestMat team in 2001; prior to that, he worked for over 10 years as an automotive technician and entry level mechanics instructor. Bryan has over 20 year of experience in the forklift industry, both as a service technician and a technical trainer. Bryan brings a broad range of knowledge and experience to our Safety Training team.
