Course Length: 6-8 Hrs
The course provides WestMat certified safety trainers an in-class refresher focused on Safety Awareness, followed by a practical assessment of competency and skill testing in a warehouse setting. Designed to give previously trained safety trainers the opportunity to refresh their operator safety knowledge and to keep current with changes in operator safety regulations and best practices.
Very informative instructor with knowledgeable and up to date material. Adequate time was spent covering the materials and discussion.
It was eye opening to see what can go wrong in a short time.

Bruce joined the WestMat team in 1994 working as a journeyman forklift technician. He later advanced to a position in customer service and sales where he remained until 2011 when he took over as WestMat’s lead safety instructor for Northern Alberta including our Edmonton, Red Deer and Grande Prairie safety training courses.
